Our Leadership
Jim Hazboun
President & CEO
Jim Hazboun is an award-winning CHRO and management consultant who has helped startups, growth, and multibillion dollar, global companies find the right people strategies to help companies grow and scale. He founded EXXEED to help companies navigate through the growth curve and transform into next generation companies.
Prior to founding EXXEED, Jim has served as a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), and Chief People Officer (CPO) at several high-growth companies (Hyundai Capital, Banc of California, ITS Logistics, Business.com, UGS PLM, JPL/NASA/California Institute of Technology), all of whom went through significant organic growth and inevitably had to grapple with the challenges of scale and transformation.
Jim holds multiple certifications in Organizational Change Management and was certified/recertified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 2008/2011. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific, where he also earned a Division I football scholarship.
Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Suzanna and his three children Noelle, Zak, and Vince. Jim also enjoys studying history, philosophy, combat sports, and music.
George Villagran
Managing Director, Talent Services
George Villagran is an accomplished HR Leader and consultant who has spent most of his career partnering with startups, growth, and global organizations to identify and provide the right people strategies to help companies reach their full potential. He has joined EXXEED to lead the Talent Services practice, help companies navigate the growth curve, and transform into next-generation companies. This includes partnering with executive leadership to drive critical hires, focusing on talent selection and employee life cycle.
Before joining EXXEED, George played pivotal roles as an HR Consultant, VP of HR Operations, and Global HR Leader at several high-growth companies (Banc of California, j2 Global/Ziff Davis, Disney, Business.com). These companies, all of whom experienced significant organic and acquisition growth, inevitably had to grapple with the challenges of scale and transformation, and George’s contributions were instrumental in their success.
George’s practical and logical approach and real-life experience towards business solutions have led to his success.
George enjoys spending time with his wife, Krysta, and their children, enjoying life, and investing/trading to stay ahead of the markets.
